I used to think they largely were conservative in their thinking. Incorrect assumption.

...and you should know better, based on what was taking place in your State with Proposition eight about the time you were getting interested in FreeRepublic.

Members of the “Church of Jesus Christ of LDS” suffer the same voter education issues as any other religious group, but the majority are far more conservative in their views than average.

Mitt Romney was a poison gift courtesy of the mainstream machine in UT who managed to ram through a change in the rules allowing a signature gathering petition to get your name on the ballot, otherwise he was out. He had lots of help signature gathering and shazaam he’s in the Senate. The next election I hope will have a different outcome based on his showing his true colors.

Haven’t checked lately but years ago the LDS population in CA passed UT and I’m quite sure Newsome wasn’t their choice for Governor.

Well, there’s an open ended statement without a single smidgeon of proof.

I can’t go back and look at your home page before submitting this post without a copy and paste effort so I’ll just Preview and Post and then look.

Thanks for having a home page. As I get older I’m more and more impressed by those who take the time to have one. Only question is the timber reference to upper midwest AZ or upper midwest America?

Or are you a timber producer in AZ but you moved there from upper midwest America, or...

Just trying to understand. Very trying probably.

PS: Andy Biggs is an AZ gift to the Congress to replace Jackass Jeff. Thanks and I really mean it in a good way.

So a slick, well-mannered weasel like Mitt Romney is regarded as righteous and a brusque plain spoken Queens character like Trump is of the devil. And of course Bishop Romney of the magic underwear is also in line to be a God of his own planet and Trump the gentile isn’t, so there’s also that.

And of course you speak as one having authority? As I previously stated, IMHO you have to be a self righteous jackass to believe President Trump is not a gift from God himself. That said there were enough of that brand to get Mr Romney on the ballot in UT, and then into the Senate. I’m hopeful in the next election Romney is up, there is voter remorse, full and complete.

Just saw an ad from “Republican Voters against Trump” while watching Fox & Friends this morning. Until the end it isn’t clear if it is for or against Trump—they have clips of Reagan speaking and various images (you can kind of guess from what they selected—one of Roger Stone, one of Trump holding up a Bible at the church near the White House). It’s only at the end that they identify themselves. I suspect it is funded mainly by Democrats but has a few people who have voted for a Republican at least once in their lives. For the images to create negative feelings towards Trump, you have to have gotten your information about those people or incidents only from the mainstream media.
