What is he going to accomplish by getting in the car and NOT pulling a gun and opening fire? Nothing. Or what is he going to accomplish by getting in the car and NOT floorboarding it in an attempt to escape? Nothing.
He darn sure isn’t getting in the car to accomplish nothing.
The cops are 100% justified in assuming he’s going to do at least one of them and therefore will very likely put innocent lives in danger. He had to have been stopped when he was. The cop saw the situation correctly and did what he had to do. imo
