Not necessarily. Nearby Louisville KY has had protests for months and through all of it we’ve had exactly ONE WEEK of National Guard presence and a “curfew” that didn’t apply to said protesters. Dem city mayor and Dem state gov are wringing their hands over covid19 (state mask mandate, bars close at 10pm, restaurants at 25% capacity, State Fair and upcoming Kentucky Derby with no fans present) but protests have been walking all over the city, including the most recent NFAC and Until Freedom, both from out of state, allowed to basically have free run of the city (NFAC said they’re coming back for the Derby) Most of downtown businesses have their glass storefronts boarded up, looks like a warzone. Mayor had the nerve to say ‘Public safety is #1’ during a press conference today and I wanted to reach through the computer monitor and smack the hell out of him.
Heh. I’m just saying I have no problem with them shooting looters. Especially arsonists.
[looks like a warzone.]
Doesn’t surprise me. Yikes.
