This is what democrats want to do to you and I in the US, folks. And yes, I am serious...and anyone who thinks somehow such a massacre could never happen in the USA is deluded.

No denying that this was barbarism. However the mullahs were no fools. After the overthrow of the Shah somehow the mullahs and their allies were able to seize power. The Tudeh Party or communist party in Iran had played a major role in the overthrow and inexplecibly to them found themselves without power. The mullahs realized that the disciplined communists were the greatest threat to their regime and were well aware of what had happened in Afghanistan. The mullahs were no slouches. Within four years after assuming power they brutally liquidated the organized Left and purged their own ranks of people judged unreliable.
The Western Left still shudders at what happened. Yet since the mullahs are so impacibly anti American, they hesitate to join in definitive action against the medeival, evil, Iranian regime. The people of Iran and the region continue to suffer.
