Our local hospital (a non-profit) is a fund-raising machine that pays its CEO over a million dollars in salary. This kind of thing is the norm.
I seem to remember how the Kennedy extended family is funded by non-profits. I believe the big example was Robert Kennedy, Jr. and environmental groups.

Folks, PACs can pay their staff whatever they want. The Lincoln Project used almost off of its donated money on themselves until very recently. Not a PAC. An organization that advertised that all monies would go toward building a section of the border wall.
