I hope all the folks that need to use their electric cars to evacuate remembered to charge them before their “green” power was shut off.
To the folks who live out there, are these because of storms?

There was no local news about the evacuation of Vacaville.
You basically have to decode the nixles or go to the local IOS.
Friends and relatives in surrounding counties are not getting much warning re evacuations and nothing has really been set up receive thousands of suddenly homeless people of all ages and possible health issues.
We have friends/relatives all over N. California and thanks to texts/emails we are finding out what is happening in their areas.

Refuse to clear brush and other combustible fuels because you don’t want to disturb the natural ecology of the landscape. I think California had fires of many sizes for thousands of years.
So every decade or so there’s a massive fire that wipes out hundreds of thousands of acres. It’s nature’s way.
Californians love nature, so they should love nature’s cleansing and regrowth cycle.
