I was a faithful Episcopalian all my life. I even went to Sewanee. And I taught at three different Episcopal schools. But, eventually I had one too many disappointments with priests or bishops. My problems were more personal than they were theological, but I converted to Catholicism. I just figured that, whatever its own difficulties, the Catholic Church is a very big house which, like Heaven, has many rooms.
It’s tough to leave. Many good times and good people. But the good people were slowly replaced by social “injustice” warriors, so full of hate. I don’t go to church to hear hate. I did attend an online Catholic mass this last Sunday. There was a bit of social justice stuff in the sermon, but not the shrill anti white racism coming from the Episcopal leadership.
