Churchill Downs is going to run the delayed Kentucky Derby the first Saturday in September and they have been given permission to have a limited live crowd at the track. The fact that Louisville is a mess with ongoing rioting is going to impact one of Kentucky’s core industries.

Worse yet, I'm hearing rumors that NFAC (Not F**king Around Coalition) the armed black militia that marched through Louisville a few weeks ago (you might have heard about them with the accidental discharge during their march) are supposed to be back that weekend.

Tragic if that happens. This year’s derby has some of the best 3-yr-olds in years. Horse racing has been the only major sport that kept going and didn’t go “woke” during this terrible year. I’m concerned the freaks might try to break onto the track and, if that happens, the danger to humans and animals will be off the charts. Horses don’t give a damn about human politics, but when they panic, they can kill people and themselves.

Also, the very radical Linda Sarsour and her crew at untilfreedom.com have moved here (Louisville) for a while. Sarsour lead a protest on Ky. Attny. General Daniel Cameron’s front lawn. 85 were arrested on a felony charge, after threatening to “burn it down” if Cameron, who is investigating the Breonna Taylor case, doesn’t give them what they want.

County Attny. Mike McConnell dismissed felony charges, in the interest of “justice”, while acknowledging the police had just cause to arrest them. This empowered the leader of NFAC militia to also threaten to “burn this MF down”, when NFAC returns.
