anyone with a brain knpws corporations do what they can to pass along operating expenses, or they cease to exist
so all the people cheering that businesses will be taxed are cheering higher consumer prices for goods and services
When I explain that to some people wobbling in the middle, I often have success with that. When I try that with someone on the left, I have gotten responses like “time for wage and price controls just like rent control!...when I try to explain businesses going out of business than, or property owners selling their property, I have even got responses as loony as “not without permission they won’t!...right out of Atlas Shrugged territory with Directive 10-289.
