Unlikely, otherwise the Oregonian would have had it as a headline. Likely a false charge used to justify their assault.
They're going for permanent live-long brain damage - just short of death. If the victim dies, they go to prison. If the victims is irreparably damaged for life, they'll be out of jail before the victim is out of the hospital.

I ran into a TSA agent in Portland years ago who seemed to think he was God.
I reported him to management and went on with my life.

Yeah...TSA is a whole nother layer of bureaucracy. I’ve generally had good luck with them. Of course, there was the time at SeaTac when a he/she TSA person was yelling instructions dramatically at a bunch of us passengers that were lined up in serpentine rows waiting to get scanned. A regular drag show. Honestly, it’s difficult not to feel pity for those folks.
I have not been able to confirm his status. I saw on a Facebook post that he had died from his head injury. But have not seen any articles anywhere to confirm that. And we all know how much BS and misinformation Facebook can put out. So as of now I would say he is still in the hospital, probably in critical condition.
