By the way, “pokies” are slot machines, and they can be found in all the pubs in Australia and New Zealand, and have a bad reputation for poor people blowing their welfare checks on them. BOSTON — The Baker administration this week rolled out a color-coded system to gauge the risk of COVID-19 in each city and town and quickly tied those assessments to recommendations on whether schools should open with in-person learning, remote learning or a hybrid model.
But problems are surfacing.
Late Friday afternoon, the Department of Public Health disclosed that a commercial lab, which state officials did not identify, is under investigation and has voluntarily suspended all testing after state officials detected 130 false positives test results were reported.
The errors mean Fall River is being re-categorized from the red to yellow, moderate-risk category and Taunton is shifting from yellow to green.
DPH officials say the reporting issue occurred from July 30 to Aug. 1 and “resulted in a disproportionate number of false positive results being reported from that lab during that time.”
“The lab ceased testing when the issue was identified and is under investigation,” DPH spokeswoman Katheleen Conti said in a statement...
The number of positive COVID-19 test results affixed to other communities may also be updated, officials said. Any updates will be included in town-by-town data in next Wednesday’s DPH report...
The news of false positive test reports came on the same day that school districts were required to file final plans for the approaching school year...
The adjustments for Fall River shifted the city from 8.3 cases per 100,000 to 7.4 per 100,000. Taunton went from 6.5 cases per 100,000 to 3.2 per 100,000.

Massive fraud and unreliable data is what drives people’s doubts.
How can the biggest story of 2020 come with unreliable data that nobody can trust?
I watched those on FR in the first 2 months try to see patterns in the data....they could not because the data was worthless.
First, in the early stages of such a thing, data is shifting rapidly.
Secondly, with bad reporting of the data and falsified data, no truth could be found.
Remember, 2 weeks to flattent the curve is now over 5 months of changing restrictions, political decisions and unscientific mandates.
New Zealand is even worse. The woman prime minister shut down the entire country in which 22 people have died out of a population of 5 million.
The discovery this past week of four new cases triggered another lockdown of the entire country which is estimated to be costing $440 million per week in economic losses.
Nobody can go to New Zealand.
Lockdowns do not work. When the current one is lifted, the virus will return and the country will be locked down again by a woman prime minister acting like the obsessed mother of toddler children.
The lockdown roller coaster will never end in New Zealand as long as lunatics are in charge.
The leaders doing this have been heralded throughout the world for their “success” but they have destroyed the economy of their country and will NEVER succeed in their quest to eradicate every last case.
Like Captain Ahab relentlessly pursuing the white whale, Moby Dick, the prime minister of New Zealand is insane.

Whether or not the covid strategy has worked will be revealed on November 3, 2020.
This is what it's all about: a reset of everything, lead by a powerful cabal.
The United States of America is in the way of this Great Reset. So they are destabilising the entire country.
The 2021 Davos Summit is coming up right after Christmas, and for the Great Reset they need a President Joe Biden to hand the United States over to the cabal. This is why they are trying so hard to defeat Trump.
Obama was a figurehead for the cabal. Biden is also a figurehead for them. Trump refuses to be a figurehead; this is why they must stop him.
