That's how it usually is. "Discrimination" and "Anti LGBT" tends to mean "Won't let us force our lifestyle on everyone else!"
It's the same in Russia, which is often wrongly slandered as being hostile to gay people.
They might have to close a few cheap theaters, but, oh well.
There is a reason why anecdotal observations are not taken as scientific evidence.
What is based in science is that homosexuality is caused by abuse and recruitment.

Your point marks the critical difference between the “silent majority” of “gay” persons and the “gay” activists pushing not for the right to be themselves, which they have, but a legal mandate that everyone has to socially accept them and indoctrinate children into that mandated social acceptance.
Mandated social acceptance and tolerance are not the same thing. The former intrudes on the freedom that means your rights end where they trample on mine, and the latter provides only that you go your way and I go mine.
I’m looking forward to a future in which decadent Europe is dominated by Poland, Hungary, and the other peoples of Eastern Europe.

Poland is a genuinely beautiful country. The geography, the article, the architecture—all are gorgeous. If the language were not so darn hard to learn I’d be over there.
This reminds me of the fit that sodomites pitched when Russia passed a law forbidding homosexual propaganda in public to children. You’d think they were being hauled into concentration camps in boxcars because they weren’t allowed to corrupt children.
