I don’t know if you are seeing that in your part of the country, but where I live in NH, I just see comatose zombies that don’t know anything or care about anything other than “Trump’s tweets are mean” or “Trump is a evil bad man”.
People around here have very short memories and seem to blame Trump now for the bad economy and don’t care who is running they just want Trump gone.
It is VERY depressing for any conservative up here in NH and surrounding areas. Repubs, on a local and state level up here are going to be wiped out big time in Nov. Conservatives up here are like Hen’s Teeth and are probably getting ready to move out as soon as possible because of the coming retribution next year against us.
The straw on the camels back has not been broken yet. If they think these panzis tearing up the cities is disruptive, wait. A democrat steal in November will bring this about
The Left legitimately doesn’t care. They’re already in the formative stages of creating enclaves where law is selectively enforced only against enemies of The Party. We’ve seen this throughout the world, over and over. Once the territory is claimed, they will do whatever is necessary to never cede it.
2016 was a colossal blunder for them. They were overly arrogant, and thought they could cruise through the election with a mere standard amount of shenanigans. They would continue the slow ratchet of tyranny through 8 years of you-know-who, at which point the capture of America would be incontestable - the Obama/Clinton/Chicago mob third-world weaponization of the Federal government against states, against localities, against the people.
The desperation you see is their sense that 2020 is their chance to overthrow the Republic, and they will try: first through quasi-legal means (i.e. incredibly brazen fraud) and failing that, violence.
There hasn't been much of an outburst based on FBI and other government actor slinging hoaxes around as credible innuendo before and after the 2016 election. The outcome of some 2018 elections was certainly changed by the DOJ-instigated corrupt endeavor of Special Council Mueller.
Just saying, the people appear to put up with terrible abuse by the government, and so far haven't done anything remotely resembling a purge.
As if it would do much good. The supply of unelected and unappointed Marxists in positions of power seems practically infinite.
