It will be Oman. I lived there years ago. Their fear is Iran and not Israel thus become allies. Even more oddly it could become Saudi. In reality Saudi and Israel are not allies but they both recognize a common enemy which is Iran.
Perhaps a Freeper would like to make a small bet on this?
Is the UAE as big as Egypt? Bring along more AYrab countries first.
On the one hand, yes, it is historic and should be applauded for any effort to move towards peaceful (co)existence.
OTOH, I am worried about the increased (liberal) influence of both Jared Kushner/Ivanka Trump on president Donald Trump, esp. in his second term.
But if the cost of these Arab states recognizing Israel is blocking the annexation of territory in the West Bank and Jerusalem that the Kushner plan allows then what good is the Kushner plan?
Jared Kushner’s efforts as the President’s envoy to the Gulf and Israel were decidedly successful. In his discussions with the press, envoy Kushner has shown himself to be supremely articulate and adept.
People can’t seem to grasp the importance of the UAE and Abu Dhabi and Dubai. The UAE is an extremely important center of finance and trade. As a financial center, only London of the European cities can claim equality looking east.
The Trump effort signals the decline of Europe and the rise of the east of Suez. The UAE is a strong leading force that combined with Israel signals that Iran is in very serious trouble going forward
That certainly caught my eye too........
“The smart money on whom Kushner has in mind is Qatar,
_______________
Oh puleeze. Smart money? In his dreams. Qatar has a ruling group which has consistently funded and hosted terrorists and thumbed its collective nose at other Arab states. Qatar is the bad boy of the sheihkdom Arab states.
My picks in order:
1)Bahrain
2)Kuwait
3)Oman”
Bingo. Qatar is a no go. I agree with your pecking order of possibilities for which Arab state will be next.
..................
In fairness to Joe, he and Barak get a great deal of the credit. Had they not generously funded terror state Iran, the Gulf States and Saudi Arabia would have less use for a prosperous regional ally with regionally significant military capability.
Good point.

Joe Biden Takes Some Credit for Trump Peace Deal in Middle East
Former Vice President Joe Biden attempted to take partial credit for the historic peace deal announced Thursday by President Donald Trump between Israel and the United Arab Emirates (UAE), saying he laid the groundwork for the agreement.
They did all they could to fight against Israel and the Gulf states forming alliances. It’s like Bre’er Fox and Bre’er Bear telling Bre’er Rabbit: “Stay out of that briar patch, boy. You in for a world of hurt if we catch you in the briar patch.” It worked, to the extent that anything can work in the Levant. Which is to say, temporarily until some new factor completely knocks everyone for a loop again. But at least it’s in keeping with the Bizzarro rhythms and logics of the Levant. Oslo was not.
I agree, he did a great job with his interviews. Most if not all wee substantial and extemporaneous, imagine Biden doing that? Of course not. Will Biden ever do an interview with wide ranging questions when he is standing up with no notes? NEVER.
Trump’s re-election must look like a done deal to the Arabs.
They wouldn’t be doing this if they thought Deep State was going to win.
Donald Dems are a thing. :-)
And there is a 100% chance that the media will attempt to put a negative spin on it.
CBS This morning gave it 5 seconds after about 15 minutes of reporting how Trump is being mean to camela.
