Some time ago I dated a Radcliffe grad,Radcliffe having been “absorbed” by Harvard years ago. She once told me that a classmate of hers,who was the Associate Director of Harvard’s Admissions Office,had told her that were it not for their affirmative action admissions policy the entire Freshman Class would consist of Asians and Jews.
I have an old fashioned idea: Admit the kids with highest test scores! Some people call it meritocracy.

My argument when I hear from the left about Trump wanting to kick Chinese Nationals out of our colleges: “You don’t think that is racist? I mean, they are human beings”
“Hmmmm, American Chinese or American Asians are discriminated against in favor of international students. Are they less human than them? Why can’t they attend a university our tax dollars support without competing against some racial/internationalist moral imperative?”
“I’m for America and American children. They should be first in line. Then again, your argument never considers them so, maybe they aren’t human to you?”
Finally a concrete example of systemic racism.
This is an Ivy League school. Most of the admissions are based on how much mummy and daddy can donate to the place.
Us plebs get to fight it out for the few scraps of admissions left after big donors.

Very good observation. Yes, definitely a good example of systemic racism. Affirmative Action is state-approved and state-sponsored systemic racism.
I personally know highly intelligent minority persons who have low self-esteem because they feel they have only gotten where they are because of policies like this. It is truly sad.
If you get into an Ivy, pursue a real major, and finish at the bottom, or alternately major in basketweaving studies, I can see the low self-esteem, but if one gets into a good school and works hard enough to be at least average, there is no shame there.
Yes, if they were white, they might have ended up going to a slightly lesser school, but would have ended up higher in the pecking order at the school.
Whatever.

Unlawful discrimination against white people is everywhere in our society and it is mostly forced upon us by government at all levels including the federal government.
