It’s quite possible we’re going to see a repeat , of how many cities saw big population and business losses after the Riots of the 1960s.

I think it's going to be much, MUCH worse than that.

The big liberal cities are going to get hit hard. With telecommuting becoming a perfected reality, there is no reason to be in the downtowns anymore and all the hassles and dangers of heading there.

That's a valid point. In Cleveland, there were the riots in Hough in 1966. 4 dead, lots wounded, lots of businesses attacked.

That area never recovered. It now has less than a quarter of the population it had back then. A wasteland.
