I hear she has a looming budget crisis coming up, in addition to everything else on her plate.

Too bad she can't sell the income stream from the city's parking meters for the next 75 years to Morgan Stanley for a one-time payment of $1B.

Her predecessor Richard Daley already did that and then spent all the money within six months! Ha ha ha ha!

Yep I remember how they sold the next 75 years of parking meter revenue, and got a windfall lump sum. It sounds as if they chose poorly when it came time to spend the one time windfall.

Maybe they can mortgage city hall or other city owned property? Though if they do, and make more poor choices on the use of more money, what difference will.it make?

lol. I never knew that, and don't understand how it can even be legal or possible - but I wake up every day now in a world of WTF.
