A Senior Republican Senate source has confirmed to Gateway Pundit that Senator Mitt Romney is leading an effort to block Senator Ron Johnson from subpoenaing James Comey and John Brennan. Johnson, the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Chair, said during a radio appearance on Wednesday that fellow Republicans were blocking him from subpoenaing the former FBI Director and former CIA Director, among other figures involved in the scandal.
This guy is the biggest POS in the Senate.
This stuff gets really crazy.
I regret casting a vote for that backstabbing POS Romney in 2012.

Well said. As much as I despise Mittens, if there was a unified Republican party that sincerely respected the wishes of its voting base and truly supported President Trump this would not be happening.
It was reported last year that a senior Romney adviser was up to his ears in the corrupt Ukraine deal. The name was mentioned but, I cannot recall the name.
It should not surprise anyone that Romney and his associates are likely involved in Gov’t corruption. And, Romney is not alone in gov’t corruption.
It is this very reason that The Swamp, both sides of the aisle were not just shocked but, alarmed when we elected Donald Trump as President.
He’s not a member of The Swamp, they are scared to death what he might discover and more scared about what he might do once he discovers the extent of the corruption.

There is something going on in the background here. Graham has promised to subpoena Comey and somebody else (I forget who) in September. I think the fake “compromise” is going to be that the Obama officials will testify for only one committee and that will be Graham. We’re being played here and Romney is the shiny object. Whatever is going to happen is already a done deal.
