Statistics just baffle the heck out of you, don't they? Blacks are 13% of the total population but they vote in disproportionate number, averaging a 60% turnout. And of that 90% to 95% will vote Democrat. Women are a bit over half the population and about 60% will vote Democrat. Two major segments of the base that it makes sense to pander to and Harris does just that.
Whites don't vote for skin color, they vote for policy.
