I also remember most of my teachers were liberal leaning, BUT they encouraged us young skulls full of mush to keep up with current events, read about them from different sources, engage in healthy debate on the issues and above all to THINK FOR OURSELVES.

Well said. The game is to keep their indoctrination mission underwraps. In home teaching might have a good side.
