Regarding your graphic... the mask for the deadliest virus in history is actually not needed. I believe that virus would be rabies (100% case fatality rate), and it is not spread through aerosols.
The really deadly viruses tend to inhibit their own transmission, for a number of reasons. Covid-19 is bad because the death rate is low enough that it doesn’t inhibit its own transmission, and it spreads through the respiratory route.
