It’s a bit like the Cleansing of the Temple — only in reverse. The Temple was cleansed to end the encroachment of commerce into sacred space — the EFT is reclaiming commercial space (from a different type of ‘money changer’) to create space for worship. Either way — more space for worship. I think it’s brilliant!
When the original disciples wanted to choose a replacement for Judas Iscariot...they cast lots. But they didnt use lots to raise money or gamble on material things( like the Roman soldiers gambling on Christs’ robe.)
