Wow.

And if this ammonium nitrate was for agricultural use, why store it in downtown Beirut? Hmmmm?

In THEORY, “they say” it was a shipment several years ago- the ship had technical problems and abandoned the cargo...at the port.

I find it hard to believe- but this is such an extraordinary event that it could be stupidity, negligence, laziness, that MIGHT or might NOT have been exploited. I tend to go with favor the stupid accident theory for the moment.
