A former producer for The Ellen DeGeneres show claims the host was well aware of the toxic work environment outlined in a series of recent investigations by BuzzFeed News, and was to some extent even responsible for it.
A veteran of various successful talk shows, Hedda Muskat was recruited by executive producer Andy Lassner back in 2003 when the show was still in development. Yet according to Muskat, DeGeneres was responsible for the toxic work environment involving racial discrimination and sexual misconduct that has now been alleged.
I had never seen this before, Muskat told The Wrap. I had never been around a toxic host. Muskat described one incident in which executive producer Ed Glavin screamed at a crew member in front of his colleagues.

She talked to Bush and forgot to apologize...the L label couldn’t save her
Is that Big Mike in the white pants? Watch closely when she changes direction. Just sayin’
Not much of an Ellen fan, but I think you could swing a dead chicken and hit hundreds of celebs - past and present - who were real aholes to work for. You quit, write your tell all book, take the money, find another job and get on with your life.
Who is surprised that Ellen is a diva witch? She’s liberal, ain’t she?
When a work environment is toxic the boss is to blame the majority of the time I would think.
I agree. I’ve worked in a number of different places, and some had some “toxic” atmospheres. Every single one I had experience with, the bosses/management created that environment.
And it stands to reason why that would be. If some of the “hired help” were difficult, they could be dealt with. In the worst case they could be fired. But you can’t fire the boss you work for.
Not an Ellen fan by any stretch of the imagination, but I think the mob is trying to cancel her for being friends with W.
Could be. From what I heard, Ellen was invited to the game by owner Jerry Jones’ daughter, and was not expecting to end up sitting next to “W” at the game. But such details don’t matter to those radicals who hate him.
Don’t really have much of an opinion on Ellen or what it was like to work for her. Never watched her show (or any daytime TV for that matter), but I did have one sort of experience. My wife and I were at an art museum a few years ago and she was there getting a private tour from, I guess, one of the curators. We crossed paths a few times over the course of a couple hours, and while I didn’t have any interaction with her I saw a lot of people who did approach her asking for autographs or selfies or whatever, and she was nothing but gracious to all of them. Maybe it’s the public vs private thing, but to her fans she was very nice.
“When a work environment is toxic”
—
“Toxic” is when dangerous chemicals are not correctly stored in the workplace. Most everybody has had at least one job where the boss or the work (or both) sucked. That’s not “toxic”, it’s just the way real liife is.

The only thing missing in those movie clips was MICHAEL.
“Deep Thoughts: If lezbos like women, why do they always pick one that looks like a man?”

Another, related, deep thought: “If male and female don’t exist, how can you be a “trans” from one to the other?”
The only thing missing in those movie clips was MICHAEL.
W is openly against Trump, so I don’t see this as being a good reason, but who knows.
Saw that...
I was on a movie set once when some extra (person who is “background people” for a day or two) asked one of the actors for his autograph. He politely, but firmly informed he was working and declined to sign.
Would be a pain always having people interrupt your dinner, date or whatever, so I have no prob with celebs saying no to autographs. A lot of people just get them to sell on EBay or wherever, also.
I could never even stand the looks of Ellen. She turns my stomach. I’m not surprised to find out what a phony liberal assh*le she is.
The dyke look.
Oh yes...
yep
I didn’t think I could dislike her any more, but after seeing that, it doubled my loathing of her.
