“Tony Fauci has cost a whole helluva lot more people their jobs than this guy ever did. Are you finally going to FIRE him too?”

If Trump is re-elected, I’m guessing that the political shelf line of Fauci will be substantially shorter than it is now.

Fauci is 80. He’ll retire the day after the election and write a book.

Funny, all these government workers want to cash in and become multi-millionaires. So much for being in it for public service.

If I recall, the Tennessee Valley Authority was created during the Depression Era to electrify the Deep South.

Are there still folks down there waiting on their electricity?

Just curious.

——PRESIDENT TRUMP IS A BRILLIANT ADMINISTRATOR.............——

Unless, he can’t find any one of the executive calibre required to run TVA at a salary of $500 grand per year.

I’d say, good luck.

(I know, I know........lowball to start negotiations and create meaningful bonuses tied to solid achievement)

TVA was created to greatly reduce flooding in East Tennessee, northern Georgia and northern Alabama...Electrical output was also a big concern and welcome benefit...

Good job. Trump needs to fire more people. This is the guy I like. Someone who takes charge and leads.

The dams built controlled water levels created by several rivers...Clinch, French Broad, Little Tennessee, Tennessee, Powell, Ocoee and some other smaller rivers...

I get that. They built dams as well. Created a lot of jobs for out of work people to do worthwhile civil works projects. But nearly 100 years later, is there still unfinished business? Are there people down there still waiting for electrification and dams to be built? Seems to me the whole works should have been privatized long ago.

No...There is no electrical shortage...Not only are there the dams, but TVA built Watts Bar, Bellefonte, Brown’s Ferry, Sequoyah, Yellow Creek Nuclear Plants...Also, there are pumped storage facilities such as Racoon Mountain...

There is no electric problems from northeast Tennessee all the way through north Georgia, Alabama, back into middle Tennessee, north Mississippi and on up through Kentucky to the Ohio River...

Despite its shares being owned by the federal government, TVA operates exactly like a private corporation, and receives no taxpayer funding. The TVA Act authorizes the company to use eminent domain. ... In addition to power generation, TVA provides flood control with its 29 hydroelectric dams.
