Well, he did not win the popular vote 4 years ago and I live in a very liberal area, there are Trump haters everywhere around me and they all can't wait to vote. A negative vote is a greater motivation than a positive vote.

Before covid, the more common thought with the columnists was that Trump would lose the popular vote again and win an electoral college victory. While that works, I think Trump really needs a popular vote victory. It will enhance his legacy and add legitimacy to his election. The libs can't whine as much if he wins the popular vote, too.

I think he can do it. While he won't win Cali, hopefully there will enough backlash to the current state of things in Cali, that he can cut his deficit in half in Cali. We'll see.
