NAC isn’t a zinc ionophore. It’s a precursor to Glutathione which is an extremely powerful antioxidant.
I’m taking Quercetin and Green Tea Extract(and drinking green tea) which are zinc ionophores.
I’m also taking NAC and some other antioxidants along with zinc, D3, K2, and a multivitamin.
Quercitin is the Zinc ionophore— perhaps you misunderstood. As a clinician I know what NAC does and why it is in Dr. Shuelte’s regimen cited. Thank you for your observation. The antioxidant capabilities when combined with the Vitamin C at 2 grams/day are impressive. Need to build the C gradually to the daily amount, as, along with the NAC can have lower GI issues (loose poops) if too sudden. Hence the reccommendation to build the C dose (and the NAC also for that matter.
Kick in (if a patient is also hypertensive needing medication) a Losartan or Candesartan-— and these active block the ACE2 lung cell surface receptors that the SARS-COV19 S-protein “corona” spikes are looking to insert at these receptors. Blocked... by the zinc aiding Quercitin in combination with the rest of the regimen. Again, thank you.
