No great loss, let ‘em go. In fact, cancel the season.

I hope all sports are cancelled and these d-bags lose their scholarships.
College/University is supposed to be about education, not professional sports D-league.

I say let them sit out the season and find players who want to play. I bet that can be done easily.

In fact, cancel the season. Why not? Just cancel the season now and be done with it. No weekly SJW lectures. Stick the athletes in class and make them pass the damn courses. See what the universities can do without their college football money.

A couple of years ago the black players on the football team at Mizzou threated to quit and not play in any post seasonal games unless the Chancellor (President) was fired or forced to resign. The coach and the ad backed the players and the Chancellor left.
This set a dangerous precident-more of this is coming to D1 and D2 sports. If it comes to D3, it may changes intercollegiate athletics for good.

Sit it out guys, no problem.
BTW
(for future reference) I will take fries with that.

Let them do it. There are plenty of others who would gladly take their places. Career ending moves are not smart as they will soon figure out.

No problem - there are plenty of aspiring players with every bit as much talent who would love to have a shot a scholarship playing PAC-12 football.
Maybe we should have a tryout call for JC transfers and walk ons.
The culture of entitlement in the current generation of athletes is stunning. This has happened before in the past. In fact, a similar entitlement attitude is what corrupted and ultimately killed the original Olympics Games. We may just be witnessing the start of the decline of sports in our culture.

I come from a generation where athletes were more concerned with keeping their positions on the squad and winning games than boycotting the playing season.
Seems times have changed.

“ Fight racial injustice”
It appears to me black athletes are the kings of the roost in universities getting great scholarships and now want to get paid... and oh, I forgot, a lot of them graduate into multi-million dollars pro sports jobs and continue to carp. about racial justice.
