Afghanistan and the entire Middle East are barbaric cultures that have NO redeeming values. We never should have spent the amount of blood and treasure on these savages. And I speak from a veteran that has spent multiple tours all through this region. Immediate evacuation of all Americans should happen ASAP.

I did not serve, but my son served multiple tours in the Middle East including Afghanistan. I supported George W Bush’s attempt to “nation build” Afghanistan and Iraq after we responded to the 9/11 attacks. I thought that it would give the people of those nations an opportunity for civilization.
I admit now that it didn’t work. As a result, any future military intervention should be to kill people and break things and to let it burn. That’s the only language they understand. When the resulting Howells of complaint come the answer should be “ We tried. For me once shame on you. Full me twice shame on me.”
Thank you for serving. I remember our soldiers being mocked by the left because their mission was seen as being something like “Bush sent the Marines to bomb Afghanistan so little girls could go to school.” Part of me feels for the little girls (and boys) who are born to that hellscape, but it isn’t up to my kids to fight for their freedom.
So true. They produce nothing and contribute nothing to the world but misery.
