Age 16 does make a difference.
That is the “age of consent” in many jurisdictions, including Florida.
However, if she was paid money for sex before age 18, Florida jacks up the criminal charge against the “John” to something higher than just regular prostitution.
Also important to remember that this (now) young woman has a civil lawsuit against Epstein’s estate.
Since all these events took place 10-12 years ago, someone is going to ask her, “What took you so long to get mad?”
