I don’t blame President Trump for Cain’s sickness and death but I am disappointed in how the President downplayed this whole virus. It is not the bubonic plague but it was a lot more serious than the President seemed to treat it at times. He never should have dismissed it as not a serious threat. By doing that he opened himself up to criticism and this is far from over. People’s perceptions are important and the President has lost the trust of many. He stopped doing the daily briefings and basically disappeared. I have several family members who were die hard for Trump and I am not even sure they will vote in November because they feel he really let the country down. I do not agree with that but the administration needs to be warned that all is not roses right now.

In his defense, Trump was given bad info. Thank goodness he shut down the flights.

It is what it is. I agree he messed up with the PR aspect of it. Personally, I think the virus was going to spread no matter what. Now? Later? We get to pick. Fortunately for the President, he has a chance in getting reelected with "law and order" campaign with our large cities getting out of control
