Ohio is Democrat run, I believe.
Hence, the corruption, stupidity, etc.
I lived there for 18 months (seemed like 20 years) some time ago. The state was in the standard liberal collapse with companies leaving and the state idiots trying to fine them for leaving.

In the winter, the salt had salt had salt. One needed earplugs to muffle the sounds of your car rusting in the garage.

I hated that place and vowed never ever to return.

As is usually the case, the people were fine and I kept wondering how they manage to find the least intelligent to lead them.

Republicans have the Governor and both houses of the legislature

DeWine our Governor may as well be a Democrat.

He follows John Kasich who was also a Progressive Republican.

Ohio has a long history of Progresssive Republicans in State wide offices.

The Ohio Republican Party has been led by Progressive Republicans since the Civil War.

Not true. The Governor is a RINO. Republicans have substantial majorities in both houses of the legislature.

Ohio is the poster child for how useless Republicans are.

It is Republican top to bottom except for some of the big city mayors.
