The DISEASE COVID-19 is ‘diagnosed’, not ‘tested’.
Most people have the VIRUS but don’t know it. Such people will develop antibodies naturally and never know they are infected. Their immune systems are strong enough to handle the Coronavirus and the virus infection never progresses to a disease state (COVID).
I get your point, but it’s not germane here.
Some testing is for live virus and I assume Trump has that.
May matter in the extreme of course. But if Louis has ‘live’ (Viruses aren’t really ‘alive’- “infectious” is more accurate) virus in him he very likely has the disease.
