I’ll install whatever software I damn well want on my device. It’s MY device. Even “locked down” garbage from Apple can be jailbroken / rooted. This is more unenforceable BS from Washington.
Not that I’d actually install TikTok, because it’s crap. And if I were an employer, I’d have to think about banning or restricting employee devices on premises if I had company sensitive information to protect. THAT is perfectly enforceable and doesn’t require some Washington bureaucrat.

They can absolutely shut tiktok down nationwide, immediately, without Apple/Google being involved.
You might can install whatever you want, but that doesn’t mean you’re guaranteed to be able to reach the tiktok servers.
