Mr. Barr, how could you possibly not arrest “Right Wing” protesters who left the place cleaner than they found it and then send Federal Officers to protect the White House from “mostly peaceful” libs who wanted to burn the White House to the ground?
Exactly. It's not really in my nature to protest with others (I'll speak with my reps). So, I've only been to a few of protests - Tea Party, 2a, and Glenn Beck's 8/28 in DC. I can tell you in all cases that I took my young children because I know it was going to be "entirely peaceful" and when we were through the place was left cleaner. I made a point to teach my children to clean up, even if it wasn't their. The word "respect" was used in that lesson.
The 8/28 event had at least 800k on the Washington mall. That place was spotless when the day was over. It put the Park Service to shame because of their normal everyday lackadaisical work effort.
