Dr. Anthony Fauci shrugged off Donald Trump’s attacks in light of the president’s new tweetstorm smearing his medical recommendations regarding the coronavirus pandemic.
Fauci gave an interview to ABC’s George Stephanopoulos on Tuesday, who immediately asked him to react to Trump’s new tweets undermining Fauci, dismissing face masks, and promoting hydroxychloroquine. Trump’s tweets have been called out as a promotion of misinformation, and when Fauci offered his thoughts, he once again stressed the importance of wearing masks, adhering to social distancing, and following public health guidelines.
“The overwhelming prevailing clinical trials that have looked at the efficacy of hydroxychloroquine have indicated that it is not effective in coronavirus disease,” Fauci said. After that, Stephanopoulos asked him about Trump’s other tweets accusing him of being a fraud who has misled the American public.

So when he lied to the American People in March that they didn’t need face masks, that was not misleading? It’s the very definition of ‘misleading’!
Trump really does need to fire him at this point. Getting into back-and-forth twitter battles with him makes them appear to be co-equals, which means Trump looks weak.

I just ran thru Trump’s tweets of the past 24 hrs. Plenty of stuff promoting HCQ with which Dr. Tony would disagree. That does not constitute an “attack”. One retweet of an article where the author said Fauci “misled” the public on HCQ which again is not really an attack.
Dr. Fauci is very thin-skinned.

this little troll undermines US and Trump every chance he gets and yet, he’s allowed to have the power to go out and cause great turmoil in our nation.
Tony is now on the opposite side of the HCQ fence from a leading epidemiologist at Yale. This may be coming to a head.
Increasingly the entire media POV on the pandemic hangs from the “Dr. Fauci Peg”. Time to have that peg pulled.

Those frontline doctors, led by a Congressman, hold a presser that gets 14 million views in 24 hrs. Then Trump goes on an HCQ tweet storm which includes positive data from Yale and the Henry Ford Health System. Makes such a big deal that Twitter censors him, drawing even more attention to the issue.
A play has been called that will show Dr. Tony the door I think.
Fauci is on record as admitting that he misled the public on masks in order to preserve PPE for nurses. If he did it before he’d do it again.
His evening spent as the Clown Prince of Nationals Park should have been the last straw.

Someone should look into his finances and those of his family members because he clearly has an agenda in his rejection of the HCQ cocktail that is showing great progress in the fight against Covid-19...
If you notice he always avoids talking about the drug cocktail (HCQ+Zn+Z-PAC) and always poopoos hydroxycloroquine...
His statement that “HCQ does not work” is technically correct, but highly misleading because Covid-19 efficacy is only gained using the 3-drug cocktail...

This should put an end to arguments about the effectiveness of hydroxychloroquine. Likely HCQ will end the pandemic. And this tragic WuFlu nightmare.
it’s being deleted from everywhere. Trump should sign up these docs that are clear headed and smart to REPLACE farci from any more hearings, task forces, etc.

Trump suddenly appears to be at war with Big Pharma over his actions on reducing drug prices. So perhaps the time is right to kick Fauci to the curb.
