In any event, Barr is not giving Nadler and his goons what they really want, for him to lose his cool and erupt. This hearing will finish with them frustrated and back to square one, like they have been for four years. Another waste of time and taxpayers’ money.
This is like a 100-move chess game, with both sides down to a king and a knight and no road to victory. They didn’t touch Barr, while at the same time he didn’t really score any points. Most viewers have already turned this off and moved on to the stimulus updates.
At what point does an AG have the right to get up and leave when the rules are not applying, when it is nothing but a smear campaign. Our side always remains cool, can’t get up and walk out otherwise the image with the viewers will be as “quitters, can’t take the heat”. Does anybody think for one minute a DEM AG will allow any Republican to disrespect them the way the DEMS are disrespecting BARR? They would leave, they would go to the news in a press conference and say how they were being disrespected, rules of committee not being maintained fairly.
Our side: sit there and eat the crap off the spoon of the DEMS serving them to avoid negative message of not being able to take the heat.
