Great lecture at UWisconsin Madison on these "bumper sticker" concepts that have no intellectual or rational basis, but that are consuming our country.
As usual he does a great job eviscerating this nonsense.

He's finally feeling good enough to be interviewed by his own daughter (who incidentally is quite a beauty) where he details his and his family's ordeals.
Here's that interview for those of you interested.

Smart guy, but I simply cannot follow him. He often times meanders in his thoughts, and never seems to actually address the point. I found listening to him, at least for me, is futile.
It's a sobering interview. He looks like he lost a lot a weight, and he was already thin. He spent months very close to death. His condition deteriorated to a point that he thought death might be preferable.
Clonazepam addiction plus akathisia plus his wife's diagnosis with terminal cancer plus his daughter's ankle replacement...
Overwhelming.
He sounds like he is finally mending -- in Yugoslavia.
Add to that, he speaks too fast. I could hardly absorb one fact when I was slammed with another. And, I really want to understand what he is putting across, too.
I enjoyed his 12 Rules for Life book, and some his previous interviews. I’ll have to check out this video, thanks.

Think I saw part of this. Where he talks about being taken to Moscow for some medical procedure there.
Withdrawal from Klonopin sounds much worse than withdrawal from heroin.
