We voted yesterday — for Sethi. Kind of held my nose. I don’t like either of them much, but Hagerty creeps me out. I know Trump ha endorsed him, but Trump’s record of choosing good people has a lot to be desired. I trust Rand Paul and Ted Cruz over Trump when it comes to vetting candidates.
As far as Sethi’s Campaign Manager goes, I’ve learned over the years that campaign managers are basically whores going with the highest bidder. They work for one guy one year and two or four years later they’re working for who they opposed before.
I look at it this way... If Sethi proves to be what he claims to be, it will be a nice, refreshing change after so many years of wishy-washy losers. If he turns out to be a fraud and a liar, we’ll get rid of him in 6 years.
Hagerty, on the other hand, given his bad record (if he was giving money to the treasonous McQueeg as late as 2016, this is an ominous sign in addition to everything else. How this guy got through to Trump shows his vetting system is broken. The President has been way too generous with people that would (and have) backstabbed him), if he gets in the Senate, with his deep pockets, we’ll be stuck with this RINO until (at least) 2039. If we don’t have strong Conservatives in the Senate to make real change back to sanity, we’re going to be a third world war-torn $hithole by then.
