In response, yesterday the DOJ filed a temporary restraining order against the city of Seattle’s order. The TRO was granted, so law enforcement is able to continue using less-than-lethal crowd control measures...for now. In other overnight Seattle news, following another night of rioting, law enforcement asked the newspaper of record, The Seattle Times, to turn over evidence of arson and gun theft. The Seattle Times refused, its editor stating: “We dont work in concert with government...” This is the same Seattle Times that took $10M from the federal Paycheck Protection Program.
