IMO, the result of all those “Participation Trophies” that were handed out.
They have been told for a long time that ‘just showing up’ will get you a reward.
Participation awards. The award should be a couple of slices of pizza after the game. They’re real awards should go to the winners... What the heck is a participation trophy anyway?
And yet they are willing to risk their lives for nonsense and actually a way of government that will slaughter them in the end.
I know it sounds simplistic but they needed a good yelling at or maybe a good beating from their fathers growing up.

when I was in my mid-twenties and going down a very wrong path my three uncles and my older brother had no problem breaking a window with my head. I straightened out of fear. Who knows where I would be right now if I didn’t?

Standard Democrat playbook. They escalate when they don’t get any push back. Trump’s power is severely limited without his own party on his flanks and Team Kenya knows it.
