Since mid-March 2020, we've seen tens of thousands of cars with NY license plates here in Connecticut. That's never been typical here in northern CT. Yesterday I saw people with NY plates stopped at a house for sale about 2 miles from here writing down information from the real estate sign at the front of the house.

We've seen many New Yorkers in Rhode Island and parts of Massachusetts as well. Just heard today on Howie Carr's radio show that New Yorkers have been *all over* Cape Cod, MA for months.

Most of us have heard that Florida has been invaded by New Yorkers since mid-March (and tens of thousands of 'em brought COVID-19 with them).

Of course that's all anecdotal, but I highly doubt that a LOT of people who formerly lived in de Blasio's NYC will be going back.

I know someone who owns a cottage on Cape Cod. They go there seasonally, so weren’t around the Cape in March, however from people they know they said it seems that many of the year-round cottages were rented by New Yorkers. Many Of the cottages on the Cape are seasonal and don’t have heat, so they really wouldn’t be suitable to live in in March, however the ones that did have heat were rented much earlier.
