If you think we are behind your probably a liberal. The virus is no deadlier then the flu. Take away comorbities and it’s less then 30,000 killed. Yes the world main stream media is very powerful and can make liberals/rinos like yourself believe the tooth fairy is going to murder them.

I haven’t heard anything about a reschedule. Matt Mowers the house candidate for cd 1 hasn’t told me when they are scheduling the makeup rally. I’m thinking it won’t be for a while since they canceled the convention. I live in North Conway nh .

This isn’t “leading from behind“ and it is not awful advice.

It is perfect game theory.

Think about it. President Trump is the incumbent - he is already the POTUS. And he was the uncontested nominee for his party.

He is not the one who badly needs a convention to show party unity. He is not the one that badly needs to be vetted by a strong debate performance to prove his mental acuity. Biden needs those things.

The Republican Party is not the party that sorely needs to make the case for why the American people should change horses in midstream. The Democrat party needs that.

If Biden and the Democrats choose to duck the debates and skip the convention, then they just conceded the 2020 election to President Trump.

Hell, he is already President - and as they say, “possession is 9/10ths of the law“. The Democrats have to take the Presidency away from him, otherwise, it remains his by default.

If they duck the debates and skip the conventions - that is like the challenger not showing up for the big fight. It makes no sense for the reigning champ to get in the ring anyway, and start swinging at air.

The incumbent enjoys enormous advantages over the challenger, owing to the stature of the office. Air Force one, the Rose garden, being commander in Chief - the list goes on and on.

The pomp and circumstance of formal debates and conventions are designed to level the playing field and put the challenger on equal footing with the POTUS. They help the challenger, not the incumbent.

If the Democrats give up those opportunities, they are making a huge mistake. An incumbent President doesn’t need them at all.
