Yep, and that discipline was developed and encouraged — usually via religion — to make us stronger and better able to thrive and prosper. Even nonbelievers will grudgingly admit this. I read an interesting article recently that said when a culture or society becomes sexually wanton, it’s a sure sign it’s failing and is on its way out.
