Every day I wear clothing, shoes, and a hat to protect the outside of my body. When the situation calls for it, I wear a mask to protect the insides. Pretty simple approach to staying healthy and comfortable.
That’s fine ... that’s your choice of course. But be honest with yourself that a mask does not “protect the insides” from a virus. From dust, smoke many germs ... but not a virus. Don’t “follow the science” as politicians, unelected bureaucrats, the media, et al. preach ... really follow the science ... and added bonus is that you’ll understand why universal mask-wearing and anti-social distancing have had little effect on “stopping the spread” ... things will begin to make sense ... reality will finally arrive. Cheers!

Terrific and good for you except masks don’t work.
The mask is fundamentally different: The mask doesn't protect YOU, it supposedly protects others FROM YOU.
If it only protected you, then the only person you are potentially hurting is yourself by not wearing it. But one has to wear it to "protect" other. That is the insidious nature of the mask mandates.
Do what you want. I do what I want. It is called freedom...and has inherent risks.
What actual scientific studies show is that a) masks do nothing to protect anyone; and b) masks inflict health damage on those who wear them.
Moreover, as the supply of PPE is limited, you wearing a mask means that’s one less where they would be actually useful in the real world - in hospitals and other health care facilities.
