Some good Trump polling for once, to put this in perspective this is identical to Obama's approval in Rasmussen on July 22, 2012 - four months before he won reelection:

22-Jul-12 Obama Approve 49% Disapprove 50%

For the Dems to push that over the top they’d need a real candidate, and it ain’t Joe Biden.

Thanks for posting. This is a ray of good news in a rather frustrating 4 months.

Wait until:

The first presidential debate, when the incumbent President Trump will face off against Joe Biden, will be held on Tuesday, September 29 at the University of Notre Dame in Indiana. The second presidential debate was expected to take place at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor on Thursday, October 15, but in June, the institution withdrew from hosting the event due to health concerns amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

“It is with great disappointment that I must ask for the University of Michigan to be released from its agreement with the Commission on Presidential Debates to host the Presidential Debate on Oct. 15, 2020,” Michigan’s president, Mark Schlissel, said in a statement Tuesday.

“In consideration of the public health guidelines in our state as well as advice from our own experts — we feel it is not feasible for us to safely host the presidential debate as planned.’’

A replacement location has not been announced. The final debate is set for Thursday, October 22 at Belmont University in Nashville.

Despite the change in location, all three debates are expected to begin at 9 p.m. ET, and will run for 90 minutes without any commercial breaks. No moderators have been announced as yet.

Like all polls in America, this one is likely skewed Demonrat by several points, and is certainly big-city-centric. So, very likely, the President has a positive poll rating, in reality. Which Demonrats do not acknowledge.

Since RAT voters are overrepresented in polls by at least 25%, Trump has a substantial lead.

As we get closer to the actual election, the question stops being: “Do you like Trump?” to “Do you think the Democrat candidate would do better?”

I will now concede that perhaps the surge in COVID cases is not totally fake news. The question is is the surge a counter trend in an over all decline or are we entering a new phase and are going to eclipse the previous highs in deaths? I think this is important because I view COVID 19 as Trump’s chief rival to reelection in November.

Trump has no choice but to resist with all his power a push to shut down the economy again. So he has this fine line of showing compassion and concern but also making a case to not shut down. The media are not going to be his friend and neither will be a handful of governors.

I have no doubt that many liberal states are going to restart a shutdown. California, Pennsylvania will definitely do so. New York has no cause at all to do so, but they may push for it too. Tons of pressure and disdain will be lobbed at Florida’s governor, who I suspect will also resist a shut down.
