For the older FR guys, I once saw a real Yippie at the 1969 Counterinaugural protests in DC strip and jump up and down in a big tent on the mall. He was challenging Phil Krasner of “The Realist” magazine to strip and join him. Krasner politely declined by saying that it’s too cold out here to do this crap.
One of my coworkers who I found out later was there, fainted because of the heat in the tent and my future wife was around the same area. Small world isn’t it.
