There has been a concerted effort to kill off the nuclear power plants here in Ohio. I’ve read several think tank articles on the attack. The renewable energy aligned crowd are trying to destroy nuclear altogether in Ohio. There are three large scale solar farms to come online soon. It’s a national security issue as far as I’m concerned. We should be looking into having diverse power generation capabiliities, not less. Gas generator technology is well developed. It’s time to resurrect the nuclear jet engine technology to compliment gas generators. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aircraft_Nuclear_Propulsion
