Surgeon General Jerome Adams begged Fox News' audience on Monday to wear face masks to help contain the spread of the coronavirus and to avoid thinking of the health measure as a violation of their rights.
Adams stressed that President Donald Trump has recently said he supports mask-wearing, despite his refusal to implement a federal mask mandate.
"I'm pleading with your viewers, I'm begging you, please understand that we are not trying to take away your freedoms when we say wear a face covering," Adams said during a "Fox and Friends" interview.
He went on, "We are not trying to take away your ability to go out when we say keep restaurant capacity under 50%. We are saying if we do these things, we can actually open and stay open. We can get back to school, to worship, to jobs. We can do this."

Essential fact number one... The WHO has already indicated that asymptomatic transmission is a very rare form of transmission. They backtracked somewhat from this scientific and factual position after the media screamed like banshees, but the truth remains a truth. Most transmissions occur after prolonged exposure to a person who has covid-19 and is displaying one or more of the symptoms associated with covid.

Essential fact number two... Wearing a mask will not prevent you from getting covid-19. If you wear a mask and you are exposed for a prolonged amount of time to somebody who is sick with covid-19 you will still likely get covid.

Essential fact number three... If you are sick with covid-19 and you wear a mask, it will be helpful in preventing you from transmitting covid-19 to others around you.
Essential fact number four... Several studies have already debunked the myth that you can get covid-19 from touching a surface. Outside of a lab, the virus does not adhere well to surfaces and your chances of touching a surface and then getting covid-19 are infinitesimal. Washing your hands is still essential and useful, but is highly unlikely that you will touch a surface and then touch your face and get covid-19.

All I know is three things:
First of all, the disease started one country away. Right next door.
Second of all, the country 100% locked down. Completely.
Everywhere closed. The only stores open, were groceries, and other food stores. Immigration stopped. The country closed down.
Third, every single person, everyone, everywhere, wore a mask.
Everyone.
For two months.
That seemed to break the disease.
That was however, pretty early in the breakout. It is tougher now, in the US, no question.
Someone claimed there is a country in Europe, which did NOT mask up.
They also have had good fortune.

The crappy thing is that the N95 has a little flapper thing that cuts down on your rebreating of CO2. That’s cool, it lets you wear the thing longer. But, guess what.. its spewing a jet of your breath on everyone around you. Huh.. I thought that was the point of the darn things.
The cloth masks are worse, they clog and your breath goes around the sides, and meanwhile, you are rebreathing your own CO2 and concentrating virus particles all along.
A real N95 has no such valve. At least the medical grade ones
All I know is, the FIRST DAY of the outbreak here, every last person in the entire country, was wearing a mask.

Everyone here rides a motor scooter. There are very few cars. As such, practically every single person in the entire country, already had a facemask, in their pocket.
They just all, put them on.
so from what you are saying I can logically infer that cars spread the disease and if everyone here rode a motor scooter the disease would vanish. Got it
