Do these asshats think that Trump supporters will grovel and return to the Country Club GOP fold? The are as disillusioned as the Dems who think we will all hold hands and sing songs of peace if Trump loses. There is an unbridgeable chasm between Americans today. Starting with the Clinton Presidency that chasm has widen to the point we are two Americas. But it ain't Democrat vs GOP. To most conservative the GOP is a necessary evil but they are no better then their Democrat counterparts. These people live in an echo chamber. They spent their existence listening to their own voice and thinking what a genius the person talking to them is. If the GOP wants to survive beyond this election, they had better hear what Jeff Sessions said the other day. This is Trump's party train and the GOP had better get on board.

Very good point. The Establishment has managed to do the near impossible, they have gotten regular rank and file Americans to thoroughly distrust their government and really hate the political and other establishments. Regular Americans have been treated like dog sh+t on the shoe of the US establishment going back to Viet Nam. Put down, stigmatized as racist and stupid but expected to pony up to the IRS and fill the ranks of the armed forces to be deployed to sewers such as Somalia, Afghanistan, or Iraq and to shut up and not complain. The McCains and Bush's and Biden’s have finally pushed things to far. The loss of faith in ones government is no small thing and he bodes ill for the future. Our leaders did this to us.
